Content Source edition 1.0.4
Recurring Writing
Keep useful writing coming.
A source package for one recurring publication: scheduled writing informed by your supplied sources and previous issues, with repetition checks, manual review, a durable archive, and exports. Runs on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17.
Example scenario
A newsletter with a memory
You publish a weekly briefing for your customers. Supply the source material and previous issues, then review a saved draft before approving it. When a topic overlaps earlier work, the draft can stay held while you choose a different angle.
From setup to the result
- Configure one publication and supply the source text and any previous writing.
- Start paused with a local demonstration, manual approval, and archive delivery.
- Inspect saved drafts, repetition checks, and writing history; edit and approve the issue.
- Export approved work or configure a supported destination, then enable the agreed schedule.
What the package handles
What you can build with it
- Publication settings for audience, purpose, voice, topics, source text, cadence, and model budget.
- Durable generation jobs, writing history, deterministic repetition checks, and visible failed or held work.
- A review workspace, revisions, approval, archive records, and downloadable issue exports.
- An authenticated HTTP API, CLI, local MCP server, examples, and an agent setup guide.
- Optional HTTPS webhook or Resend delivery to configured recipients.
Before you choose
Will it fit your project?
Who it is for
- Businesses preparing a newsletter, briefing, or topical article series.
- A publication operator who wants saved drafts and a review workspace.
- Teams connecting a writing service to an existing application through a server-side API.
Runtime and connections
Current packages run on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. You provide hosting and connect the package to your existing app. The included guide describes the supported integration; this is not a hosted service.
Depending on the features you enable, setup can require your own OpenAI, Resend accounts and credentials. Their usage, plans and transaction charges are separate from the source purchase. Check the supported behavior below before choosing a connection.
A useful handoff to your coding agent
How setup works
The source package includes local setup instructions, an integration guide, examples, help articles and verification resources. Your agent can use those files without signing in to a hosted reference page.
- Check the requirements. Your agent inspects the application, runtime, database and supported connections before making changes.
- Configure your installation. Answer the product-specific questions below, connect your own accounts where needed and retain the configuration privately.
- Connect and verify. Use the included checks and a representative workflow, then verify any chosen external service separately before relying on it.
Questions to prepare
- What will this publication cover, who reads it, and what should it help them do?
- Which source text, prior issues, and writing examples can you provide?
- What voice, timezone, schedule, length, and budget should it use?
- Who reviews the work, and will it remain in the archive or use a supported delivery destination?
- Where will Node.js and PostgreSQL run, and how should an existing app connect?
What your agent checks
- Check configuration, database access, and worker heartbeat.
- Generate and save a labeled local demonstration without a model or email call.
- Review, edit, approve, archive, and export a saved issue.
- Check repetition handling, persistent jobs, recovery, and duplicate controls.
- Verify live generation and the selected external destination separately before relying on them.
Scope of this edition
Important limits
Version 1 supports one publication and one trusted operator per installation on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. Supplied text provides the sources; source URLs are attribution and are not fetched. Generation uses OpenAI Responses. Resend sends to configured recipients and does not manage subscriber lists. Hosting, database, model usage, email, and existing-app integration are separate. Repetition checks use the configured history and do not guarantee originality.
Before you decide
Will this work with my existing app?
The package runs on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. Your coding agent connects it to your application using the included integration guide and supported interfaces. Check the requirements, supported behavior and limits on this page; compatibility with every framework or hosting provider is not promised.
What will my agent need from me?
Your goals, the relevant app details and permission to configure your own accounts. The setup questions on this page help prepare that handoff. Keep credentials in your own private environment; do not paste secrets into a public support request.
What happens if setup fails?
The package includes verification and troubleshooting resources so your agent can inspect the failure and resume the documented setup. Initial setup and reproducible-defect support lasts 30 days from purchase. The refund policy covers material defects we cannot fix, alongside applicable statutory rights.
Is this a subscription?
Helpful Mods sells the source package once. There is no monthly maintenance subscription or automatic renewal. Hosting and connected services have their own costs. Optional major upgrades require a separate purchase.
Can I buy this now?
Purchases are not open yet. You can inspect the product information and use the library planner while checkout is being prepared. A plan is not an order and does not grant source access.
