Content Source edition 1.1.0

Blog & SEO Publishing

Publish articles from draft to public page.

Prepare Markdown articles, review each revision and publish crawlable pages with titles, descriptions and canonical URLs. An XML sitemap and RSS feed follow the articles you keep public.

Example scenario

Move an article from private draft to public page

Prepare a Markdown article with its title, description and category. Review the revision before publishing it. The public page, sitemap and RSS feed then reflect the article you approved.

From setup to the result

  1. Write an article with its title, summary, category and permanent slug.
  2. Request review, approve as owner and publish the selected revision.
  3. Keep the old article visible while a replacement is being edited.
  4. Publish the approved replacement or unpublish the article and remove its feed entry.

What the package handles

What you can build with it

  • An editorial interface with private revisions and owner-approved publication.
  • Public article pages, category browsing and text search.
  • Canonical metadata, an XML sitemap and an RSS 2.0 feed.

Supported behavior

  • Saved private Markdown article revisions and owner approval
  • Public category browsing, text search and permanent article URLs
  • Crawlable HTML with article title, description and canonical URL
  • XML sitemap and RSS 2.0 feed of current public articles

Before you choose

Will it fit your project?

Who it is for

  • Businesses adding a blog to an existing app or site.
  • Editors who want private revisions and owner approval before publication.

Runtime and connections

Current packages run on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. You provide hosting and connect the package to your existing app. The included guide describes the supported integration; this is not a hosted service.

Hosting and PostgreSQL costs are separate from the source purchase. A configured external receiver, if used, has its own requirements and costs.

A useful handoff to your coding agent

How setup works

The source package includes local setup instructions, an integration guide, examples, help articles and verification resources. Your agent can use those files without signing in to a hosted reference page.

  1. Check the requirements. Your agent inspects the application, runtime, database and supported connections before making changes.
  2. Configure your installation. Answer the product-specific questions below, connect your own accounts where needed and retain the configuration privately.
  3. Connect and verify. Use the included checks and a representative workflow, then verify any chosen external service separately before relying on it.

Questions to prepare

  • Who reads the articles, and which categories will help them browse?
  • Who writes and approves revisions?
  • Which public origin and title should appear in article metadata, sitemap and RSS?

What your agent checks

  • Inspect crawlable HTML and the configured canonical URL.
  • Confirm raw markup and unsafe links cannot execute.
  • Keep unpublished revisions out of search, sitemap and RSS.
  • Publish a replacement and then unpublish; verify the resulting pages and feeds.

Scope of this edition

Important limits

Supports 500 articles and 100 saved revisions per article, using a bounded Markdown renderer. This release does not include a full website builder, media hosting, uploaded MDX execution, scheduling, redirects or an indexing/ranking guarantee.

  • 500 articles and 100 revisions per article per installation
  • Markdown subset: paragraphs, headings, bullets, inline emphasis, code and HTTP(S)/relative links
  • No raw HTML, MDX, media uploads, custom themes, scheduling or automatic SEO ranking
  • Slugs are permanent; unpublishing returns 404 and removes sitemap/feed entries

Before you decide

Will this work with my existing app?

The package runs on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. Your coding agent connects it to your application using the included integration guide and supported interfaces. Check the requirements, supported behavior and limits on this page; compatibility with every framework or hosting provider is not promised.

What will my agent need from me?

Your goals, the relevant app details and permission to configure your own accounts. The setup questions on this page help prepare that handoff. Keep credentials in your own private environment; do not paste secrets into a public support request.

What happens if setup fails?

The package includes verification and troubleshooting resources so your agent can inspect the failure and resume the documented setup. Initial setup and reproducible-defect support lasts 30 days from purchase. The refund policy covers material defects we cannot fix, alongside applicable statutory rights.

Is this a subscription?

Helpful Mods sells the source package once. There is no monthly maintenance subscription or automatic renewal. Hosting and connected services have their own costs. Optional major upgrades require a separate purchase.

Can I buy this now?

Purchases are not open yet. You can inspect the product information and use the library planner while checkout is being prepared. A plan is not an order and does not grant source access.
