Cookies and browser storage

Cookies and similar storage let a service remember information in your browser. This page describes the public Helpful Mods website and services your browser may contact when you use an offered feature. Account storage applies when you use an available sign-in service; optional analytics applies only where it is enabled and you allow it.
What is used

We do not load Google Analytics or send its requests or consent-only pings before you choose Allow analytics. No analytics is available alongside that choice. Declining does not block the public site. Google Fonts requests are separate from analytics permission. No advertising pixels are included in this integration.
Analytics runs only on selected public pages. It is excluded from authentication, account, checkout, private-resource and support-message screens. The Privacy Policy explains what information is sent and the separate two-month setting for nonaggregated user/event records. Browser-cookie lifetime does not set Google's retention period, and standard aggregated reports fall outside that two-month setting.
Your choices
Your browser can show and remove cookies and site data or block storage. Blocking storage needed by an account or payment service can prevent that requested service from working. Removing browser data does not delete support emails or a provider's own records; contact us for a privacy request.
When analytics is enabled, the public mod library includes Analytics settings. Choose it, then No analytics to withdraw permission. Collection by the integration stops on that page. With working browser storage, it remembers the declined choice, removes its own analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag. If the browser prevents saving or clearing the remembered choice, the control tells you it could not be saved rather than claiming it will persist. You may be asked again on a later page. Information Google received before withdrawal is not recalled by that action.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track block optional analytics, including a remembered permission. They do not disable an account or payment service you request. If browser storage is blocked, a choice may apply only to the current page; you may be asked again on a later visit.
