Your source license

Buy each mod once for one commercial product. You can use, modify and operate the source versions you receive indefinitely under the package license. Your product may have unlimited end users and reasonable development, staging and production environments.

What you can do

• Adapt the purchased mod to your application and operate that application for customers.
• Let your employees and contractors work on the licensed product on your behalf while protecting the source.
• Maintain private backups and normal development, testing and production copies.
• Keep using source versions you already received after the included fix period ends.

You own your application, data, accounts, configuration and independently created work. Helpful Mods retains ownership of the package source. If you build a separate product or a product for another client, purchase a license for that product.

Distribution

You may distribute your application to its end users, including as a hosted service or compiled application, when the package source is not itself the principal product being sold.

The license does not permit reselling, sublicensing, publicly publishing or redistributing the mod as a component, template, library, code bank or competing development toolkit. Private source access by authorized developers working on your licensed product is allowed. Retain copyright and third-party license notices.

Support and future versions

A source purchase includes 30 days of initial setup help and at least 12 months of bug and security fixes for the purchased version. Both periods begin on your receipt's purchase date. The setup-help period does not limit the included fix period.

There is no monthly update subscription or automatic renewal. You keep the right to use source versions already received under the license after the fix period ends. A future major upgrade may be offered separately at an optional, disclosed price. Buying the original mod does not automatically buy or enroll you in a future upgrade.

Rights to fixes, updates and other remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded continue to apply.

Dependencies and operating costs

Unless expressly included in your offer, hosting, databases, model usage, email delivery, external data and provider subscriptions are separate. You manage those services under their own terms and accounts.

Open-source dependencies retain their own licenses. The Helpful Mods license does not replace or restrict rights granted by those licenses. Consult the notices and dependency records in your package.

The complete license delivered with your order governs the package. Read the commercial source license, or the Recurring Writing license for that product. Your receipt identifies the seller, purchaser, licensed product, purchase date, paid price and support contact.
