Operations Source edition 1.0.4

Paid Membership and Teams

Make membership and access agree.

Manage organization members, recipient-bound invitations, paid seats, and ownership while checking plan access against current Stripe subscription state.

Example scenario

Keep team invitations within paid seats

An organization owner invites a colleague to a paid workspace. Reserve the seat and bind the invitation to its intended recipient, while checking current Stripe subscription state before granting the relevant access.

From setup to the result

  1. Create an organization with one owner.
  2. Configure a subscription checkout for the intended seat count.
  3. Invite known account IDs and accept as the named recipient.
  4. Reconcile plan changes and keep membership within paid capacity.

What the package handles

What you can build with it

  • Organization-scoped roles and expiring invitations that reserve seats.
  • Atomic ownership transfer and protected owner membership.
  • Stripe subscription quantity, plan, expiry, and risk reconciliation.

Supported behavior

  • Organization roles, expiring recipient-bound invitations, seat reservations, and atomic owner transfer.
  • One configured-price subscription item with current provider quantity; plan/seat changes through Stripe Dashboard and webhook reconciliation.
  • Snapshot lifecycle, invoice, refund, dispute, and fraud-warning reconciliation.

Before you choose

Will it fit your project?

Who it is for

  • Software products selling access to teams.
  • Paid communities with different membership roles.
  • Client workspaces that need shared billing and separate permissions.

Runtime and connections

Current packages run on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. You provide hosting and connect the package to your existing app. The included guide describes the supported integration; this is not a hosted service.

Depending on the features you enable, setup can require your own Stripe accounts and credentials. Their usage, plans and transaction charges are separate from the source purchase. Check the supported behavior below before choosing a connection.

A useful handoff to your coding agent

How setup works

The source package includes local setup instructions, an integration guide, examples, help articles and verification resources. Your agent can use those files without signing in to a hosted reference page.

  1. Check the requirements. Your agent inspects the application, runtime, database and supported connections before making changes.
  2. Configure your installation. Answer the product-specific questions below, connect your own accounts where needed and retain the configuration privately.
  3. Connect and verify. Use the included checks and a representative workflow, then verify any chosen external service separately before relying on it.

Questions to prepare

  • Which Stripe subscription prices, expected seat amounts, and currencies define your plans?
  • How many seats may an organization have, and how long do invitations last?
  • Which trusted account IDs identify owners and invitation recipients?
  • Where should Stripe return customers?

What your agent checks

  • Reject the wrong invitation recipient and prevent extra seat claims.
  • Transfer ownership while retaining one owner.
  • Check downgrade, expiry, failed payment, and organization isolation.

Scope of this edition

Important limits

One configured subscription item per checkout and a maximum of 100 seats. Your trusted app supplies account identities. Plan and quantity changes use Stripe Dashboard and reconciliation; enterprise SSO and metered usage are outside this release.

  • No enterprise SSO, metered usage, tax, prorated in-app upgrades, or multi-seller billing.
  • Customers must be authenticated by a trusted application; recipient IDs must be mapped correctly before issuing invitations.
  • At most 100 seats, 100 invitation records, and 100 checkouts per organization before maintenance. Billing changes are asynchronous; expired or over-capacity subscriptions fail closed.

Before you decide

Will this work with my existing app?

The package runs on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. Your coding agent connects it to your application using the included integration guide and supported interfaces. Check the requirements, supported behavior and limits on this page; compatibility with every framework or hosting provider is not promised.

What will my agent need from me?

Your goals, the relevant app details and permission to configure your own accounts. The setup questions on this page help prepare that handoff. Keep credentials in your own private environment; do not paste secrets into a public support request.

What happens if setup fails?

The package includes verification and troubleshooting resources so your agent can inspect the failure and resume the documented setup. Initial setup and reproducible-defect support lasts 30 days from purchase. The refund policy covers material defects we cannot fix, alongside applicable statutory rights.

Is this a subscription?

Helpful Mods sells the source package once. There is no monthly maintenance subscription or automatic renewal. Hosting and connected services have their own costs. Optional major upgrades require a separate purchase.

Can I buy this now?

Purchases are not open yet. You can inspect the product information and use the library planner while checkout is being prepared. A plan is not an order and does not grant source access.
