Operations Source edition 1.0.4

Reporting & Insights

Give the numbers a shared meaning.

Turn supplied dated business rows into defined metrics, period comparisons, and immutable audience-scoped reports, with consistent JSON, Markdown, and CSV exports.

Example scenario

A weekly report with agreed definitions

Supply dated business rows and define what revenue and conversion mean for your team. Compare periods and save a report whose JSON, Markdown and CSV exports use the same calculation.

From setup to the result

  1. Ingest complete authorized source rows with their observation dates.
  2. Apply the configured metric and currency definitions.
  3. Save an audience-scoped report snapshot.
  4. Export that same snapshot or schedule the next report.

What the package handles

What you can build with it

  • Defined sums, counts, ratios, grouping, and period comparisons.
  • Source hashes and reasons for withheld stale or missing values.
  • Saved report snapshots, recurring jobs, and optional private notifications.

Supported behavior

  • Dated JSON row ingestion
  • Sum/count/ratio, dimension groups, period comparisons
  • Integer minor-unit money totals
  • Immutable JSON/Markdown/CSV exports
  • Daily/weekly recurring jobs

Before you choose

Will it fit your project?

Who it is for

  • Owners assembling the same weekly report by hand.
  • Agencies reporting across client systems.
  • Teams that need one agreed definition of revenue, activity, or conversion.

Runtime and connections

Current packages run on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. You provide hosting and connect the package to your existing app. The included guide describes the supported integration; this is not a hosted service.

Depending on the features you enable, setup can require your own Resend accounts and credentials. Their usage, plans and transaction charges are separate from the source purchase. Check the supported behavior below before choosing a connection.

A useful handoff to your coding agent

How setup works

The source package includes local setup instructions, an integration guide, examples, help articles and verification resources. Your agent can use those files without signing in to a hosted reference page.

  1. Check the requirements. Your agent inspects the application, runtime, database and supported connections before making changes.
  2. Configure your installation. Answer the product-specific questions below, connect your own accounts where needed and retain the configuration privately.
  3. Connect and verify. Use the included checks and a representative workflow, then verify any chosen external service separately before relying on it.

Questions to prepare

  • Which datasets should reports use, how fresh must each be, and which rows belong to a customer?
  • What should be counted, summed, divided, grouped, or compared, and in which currency units?
  • Who may read each report, and should a recurring report or notification run?

What your agent checks

  • Reconcile a sample calculation against its source rows.
  • Withhold missing, stale, mixed-currency, or unsupported-precision values.
  • Keep customer snapshots separate and exports unchanged after later ingestion.

Scope of this edition

Important limits

This release supplies ingestion and calculation, not native connectors to every business platform. Money totals use integer minor units and one configured currency. Your upstream application supplies complete authorized data; a source snapshot is capped at 10,000 rows.

  • No automatic provider data connector or accounting/tax authority
  • Missing/stale data is withheld rather than estimated
  • Customer snapshots only include rows tagged with that customerId
  • One ingested source snapshot is capped at 10000 rows

Before you decide

Will this work with my existing app?

The package runs on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. Your coding agent connects it to your application using the included integration guide and supported interfaces. Check the requirements, supported behavior and limits on this page; compatibility with every framework or hosting provider is not promised.

What will my agent need from me?

Your goals, the relevant app details and permission to configure your own accounts. The setup questions on this page help prepare that handoff. Keep credentials in your own private environment; do not paste secrets into a public support request.

What happens if setup fails?

The package includes verification and troubleshooting resources so your agent can inspect the failure and resume the documented setup. Initial setup and reproducible-defect support lasts 30 days from purchase. The refund policy covers material defects we cannot fix, alongside applicable statutory rights.

Is this a subscription?

Helpful Mods sells the source package once. There is no monthly maintenance subscription or automatic renewal. Hosting and connected services have their own costs. Optional major upgrades require a separate purchase.

Can I buy this now?

Purchases are not open yet. You can inspect the product information and use the library planner while checkout is being prepared. A plan is not an order and does not grant source access.
