Operations Source edition 1.1.0

Agent Transactions

Let customer-approved agents transact with your business.

Let customers approve an assistant to make a purchase, start a finite monthly membership or reserve an appointment with your business. Enforce the approved quotes, agent identity, total budget and expiry, and retain the original transaction through payment recovery.

Example scenario

Approve a particular purchase for an assistant

A signed-in customer reviews a merchant quote and authorizes a registered agent within a budget and expiry. The participating agent submits that purchase, while the merchant retains the original transaction through payment recovery.

From setup to the result

  1. Configure merchant offers, legal terms, resource availability and registered agent identities.
  2. Let the signed-in customer review specific quotes and approve the total commitment.
  3. Execute an approved quote as the registered agent or customer, reserving budget and local capacity.
  4. Verify the original provider result, complete bank authentication when needed and let the host fulfill the purchase.
  5. Handle cancellation, a full one-time refund or an unresolved payment through the original transaction.

Before you choose

Will it fit your project?

Who it is for

  • Merchants adding customer-approved agent purchases to their own app.
  • Businesses selling fixed-price memberships or appointments through a participating agent client.

Runtime and connections

Current packages run on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. You provide hosting and connect the package to your existing app. The included guide describes the supported integration; this is not a hosted service.

Depending on the features you enable, setup can require your own Stripe accounts and credentials. Their usage, plans and transaction charges are separate from the source purchase. Check the supported behavior below before choosing a connection.

A useful handoff to your coding agent

How setup works

The source package includes local setup instructions, an integration guide, examples, help articles and verification resources. Your agent can use those files without signing in to a hosted reference page.

  1. Check the requirements. Your agent inspects the application, runtime, database and supported connections before making changes.
  2. Configure your installation. Answer the product-specific questions below, connect your own accounts where needed and retain the configuration privately.
  3. Connect and verify. Use the included checks and a representative workflow, then verify any chosen external service separately before relying on it.

Questions to prepare

  • Which fixed USD purchases, finite monthly offers and appointment resources does this merchant provide?
  • How will the existing app verify customers and registered agents before a customer approves spending?
  • What terms, refund policy, billing limits and appointment windows apply?
  • Which merchant Stripe account and trusted app pages handle payment and fulfillment?

What your agent checks

  • Race spending and appointment requests and verify budget and capacity bounds.
  • Reject expired or revoked authority, changed terms and cross-customer/provider bindings.
  • Recover the same original payment after an authentication requirement, lost response or restart.
  • Verify finite invoice bounds, cancellation and late-payment appointment compensation.

Scope of this edition

Important limits

One merchant Stripe account per installation; USD fixed gross prices, card payment aliases and monthly plans of at most 12 cycles. Appointments use local PostgreSQL inventory. Remote calendars, arbitrary merchant websites, unbounded billing, multi-seller payouts and automatic tax calculation are outside this release.

  • One merchant Stripe account per installation; USD fixed gross prices, card payment aliases, monthly subscriptions up to 12 cycles. Merchant handles taxes within the approved gross price.
  • No unbounded, usage-based or variable-price subscriptions; subscription refund/proration requires merchant/provider review.
  • Authentication-required direct payments retain the original intent and require customer/merchant action; no automatic replacement charge.
  • Appointment inventory is local PostgreSQL authority, not atomic remote-calendar availability; up to 1000 active slots/resource.
  • Dashboard/recovery lists show latest 1000 records per kind. Quotes approve specific transactions; this is not unrestricted Internet purchasing.
  • No MPP/SPT, ACP/AP2/UCP, remote MCP OAuth, wallet issuing or platform marketplace approval is claimed.
  • Payment success is separate from merchant fulfillment or app access.
  • A buyer’s recurring business offer does not change Helpful Mods’ own one-time source-purchase terms.

Before you decide

Will this work with my existing app?

The package runs on Node.js 22.13+ and PostgreSQL 17. Your coding agent connects it to your application using the included integration guide and supported interfaces. Check the requirements, supported behavior and limits on this page; compatibility with every framework or hosting provider is not promised.

What will my agent need from me?

Your goals, the relevant app details and permission to configure your own accounts. The setup questions on this page help prepare that handoff. Keep credentials in your own private environment; do not paste secrets into a public support request.

What happens if setup fails?

The package includes verification and troubleshooting resources so your agent can inspect the failure and resume the documented setup. Initial setup and reproducible-defect support lasts 30 days from purchase. The refund policy covers material defects we cannot fix, alongside applicable statutory rights.

Is this a subscription?

Helpful Mods sells the source package once. There is no monthly maintenance subscription or automatic renewal. Hosting and connected services have their own costs. Optional major upgrades require a separate purchase.

Can I buy this now?

Purchases are not open yet. You can inspect the product information and use the library planner while checkout is being prepared. A plan is not an order and does not grant source access.
