# Commercial source license

An authorized purchase of the selected HelpfulMods source package grants the license below. The purchase receipt identifies the HelpfulMods seller, purchaser, licensed product, purchase date, and support contact. The paid price is the amount recorded on that receipt.

## Grant

HelpfulMods grants the purchaser a nonexclusive license to use, modify, and operate the selected HelpfulMods source package within one commercial product identified at purchase. That product may have unlimited end users and reasonable development, staging, and production environments. Employees and contractors may work on the licensed product on the purchaser's behalf and must protect the source under these terms.

Each mod is purchased once. The purchaser may use, modify, and operate source versions already received indefinitely within the licensed product. The purchase includes 30 days of support for initial setup and reproducible defects in the delivered package, beginning on the receipt's purchase date.

HelpfulMods provides bug and security fixes for the purchased version for at least 12 months beginning on the purchase date shown on the receipt. This fix-delivery period is separate from, and continues after, the 30-day initial support period.

Major-version upgrades are optional and separately priced. They require a separate affirmative purchase. There is no monthly subscription, automatic renewal, or automatic upgrade charge. Choosing not to buy an upgrade does not affect the right to keep using source versions already received.

## Ownership and distribution

The purchaser owns their application, data, accounts, configuration, and independently created work. HelpfulMods retains ownership of its package source. The purchaser may distribute the licensed application to its end users, including as a hosted service or compiled application, when the package source is not itself the principal product being sold.

The purchaser may not resell, sublicense, publicly publish, or redistribute the package as a component, source template, library, code bank, or competing development toolkit. A new product or a product built for a separate client needs its own license. Private source access by authorized developers and ordinary backups of the licensed product are permitted. Preserve copyright and third-party license notices.

## Services and dependencies

The purchase does not include hosting, database service, model usage, email delivery, external data, or provider subscriptions. Those services remain under the purchaser's accounts and terms. Third-party dependencies retain their own licenses; this document does not replace or restrict rights granted by those licenses.

## Support

Use the support contact on the purchase receipt. Support covers the delivered package and documented supported environment. Bespoke application development, unrelated infrastructure work, editorial services, and maintenance outside the included support and fix commitments require a separate agreement. If the delivered package has a material defect that HelpfulMods cannot fix, the purchaser may request a refund through the support contact on the purchase receipt. This does not limit statutory rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
