Refunds and order problems
Last updated October 30, 2026.
Each Helpful Mod is a one-time source purchase. It includes 30 days of initial setup help and at least 12 months of bug and security fixes for the purchased version, beginning on your receipt's purchase date. There is no monthly update subscription or automatic renewal. A future major upgrade, if offered, is a separate optional purchase at the price shown before payment.
A problem with a source purchase
Contact us with the order number, purchased mod and a description of the problem. If the package will not download or has a reproducible defect, include the error message and supported environment you used. Remove passwords, private keys, full card information and unnecessary personal data.
We refund a purchased mod when it has a material defect that we cannot fix. A material defect is a substantial failure of the delivered package to perform its documented supported function. Tell us what fails and give us the information needed to investigate and attempt a fix. This policy does not require us to add an unsupported feature or rebuild your unrelated application.
We also review duplicate, unauthorized or incorrect charges and delivery problems. Support or a replacement may resolve a technical problem; those options do not remove a refund or other remedy the law requires. Your order's agreed terms and applicable law determine any additional available remedy. We do not promise a change-of-mind refund or an additional money-back guarantee on this page.
The 30-day initial setup period does not limit the separate included fix period or your mandatory rights. Contact support about a defect in the purchased version during the applicable fix period even if initial setup help has ended.
Refund confirmation and access
A full refund of a source purchase ends new source downloads, hosted resource access and included fix access for that purchase, subject to applicable law. We confirm the order, amount and currency being refunded. A refund submitted to the payment provider may remain pending until the provider confirms it; submission alone is not a claim that money has settled back to your account.
This policy does not remove code already downloaded from your project. The delivered source license and applicable law govern continued use of source already received. A download-access change does not by itself revoke that license.
Partial refunds, disputes and payment reviews
A partial refund, unresolved payment dispute or suspected fraud may place new source downloads, hosted resources and fix access for that mod on hold while the payment is reviewed. A partial refund does not by itself establish that the entire source license has ended.
When a payment concern is resolved, we review what that outcome means for access. If a valid paid purchase remains eligible, access can be restored; if the resolution fully refunds the source purchase, the full-refund policy above applies. The result and any required refund or other remedy are confirmed with the resolution. Contact support if your account record does not reflect the result.
Rights that continue to apply
Nothing on this page excludes a statutory right to a refund, repair, replacement, withdrawal or cancellation. A download alone does not establish that a consumer validly waived a withdrawal right. Any consent or acknowledgment required for immediate digital delivery must be obtained separately where the law requires it.
We do not ask you to waive a right to dispute an unauthorized charge with your payment provider. Contacting us first may help resolve an order problem, but it does not limit a right the law or your provider gives you.
